Senior F.A.Q.

Do I have to attend a certain high school to be photographed for my senior portrait?

No.  We photograph high school seniors from the local area, as well as from surrounding counties.  We even photograph out-of-state students!

Is there a session or creation fee for the senior photography?

Yes.  We will collect an appropriate fee for whatever sessions you have chosen.  These fees are due upon booking.

How long will my sessions take?

We have sessions that last between thirty minutes and an hour.  Remember, though, that we will need to factor in extra time for travel time if your session is in a park or on the beach.  Also note that if you have both an indoor and outdoor session, both of these will last about an hour.

Can I bring a friend with me for my portrait?

Yes you can!  Bring your boyfriend or girlfriend, your best friend, your brother or sister, even your pet!  We strongly recommend that you bring someone along to help with hair and clothing as well.

Do I need to have my hair or makeup done before I arrive at the studio?

Most seniors prefer to do their hair or makeup at their own house.  If you let us know, you can arrive early and do hair and makeup here.

I have a wild outfit that I want to wear.  Will you photograph me in it?

Yes!  You can wear your favorite casual clothes, party clothes, school uniform, club outfits, school colors, sports paraphernalia, even a bathing suit!

I have an idea for an unusual photograph.  Will Craig do that for me?

Yes.  If you can explain it, we can do it.  If it’s extremely wild, though, you may want to tell us about it when you book your session so we can prepare and get any required props and visit the locations.

Which park do you go to for the outdoor shoots?

We usually use Florida Park in Niceville, however, we have used almost every park in the county.  If you have a request, please tell us, and we will do the shoot there!

If the weather is bad on the day of my photo session, what should I do?

If you have an indoor session only, we still photograph it on that day.  If you have an outdoor session in addition, we will still photograph the indoor session, and make a final determination at the end of the session.  If you only have an outdoor session, we will be in contact a few hours before.

How do I see my photographs after sessions are finished?

We will schedule a proof session in the studio a few days after we have photographed the senior.  These proofing sessions can last between one and three hours, depending on how quickly you make decisions.

I can’t wait!  How long does it take to get my photos back?

It usually takes four to six weeks from the day the order is placed, depending on the time of year and how busy the senior labs are.

What if I want more copies in a couple of years?

Since we no longer keep images indefinitely, you now have the option of purchasing a full resolution CD-ROM of your images, or purchasing a proof book with paper prints.

How soon do I need to make my appointment?

Soon.  Our calendar fills up very quickly each year, so the sooner you call, the better!  Call the studio to speak with Nicole at 850.678.1334.

If you have any questions that you don’t see here, please give us a call, and we’ll answer!
